About the author:
Two passions emerged early on in Nina Weger's life: writing and the circus. At the age of 13, she
began dancing tightrope in a children's circus and toured as a professional tightrope walker for
a year after leaving school. She then devoted herself to training at a journalism school, worked
as a screenwriter and finally found her way to children's books.
