Claudia Kühn was born in Berlin. After her studies she worked as a dramaturge, editor and author. She admires Jane Austen's writing. When she has read in full all of her novels, she starts from the beginning again. Claudia Kühn lives with her family in Berlin.

Tara Spruit works as a freelance artist and illustrator in the Netherlands. She specializes in digital illustrations, character design, and comics. When she is not drawing, she dreams of fantasy worlds and historical garments.
